Stefanie Devery has been an attorney with Shaev & Fleischman LLP since May 2011. She came to us after running her own law firm for eight years, and has significant experience in the following areas:
- student loan law
- consumer bankruptcy
- real estate
- mortgage transactions
Stefanie got her undergraduate degree in Law and Society from The American University in Washington, D.C. and her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. During law school Stefanie interned for the Honorable Magistrate Arlene Lindsey, Eastern District of New York and prior to graduation and admittance to the Bar clerked at a medium size firm practicing in Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Matrimonial Law.
Stefanie has been admitted to practice before the Courts of The State of New York since May of 2003.
Upon admittance to the Bar, Stefanie founded The Law Offices of Stefanie N. Devery, Esq. practicing in all aspects of Transactional Real Estate Law representing mortgage lenders, purchasers, sellers and title companies. Shortly thereafter, Stefanie and her husband Brian combined their respective law offices and formed Devery & Devery, P.L.L.C. The firm practiced in all areas of Real Estate and Mortgage Banking Law. In 2009, Stefanie and Brian relocated and founded the new firm: The Devery Law Group, P.C.
Stefanie is a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised on the North Shore of Long Island. She currently lives on the South Shore with her husband and two small children. Stefanie is an avid scrapbooker and baker.
