Work With Me

Every day since December 19, 1995 (the day I opened my own law firm) I’ve gone toe-to-toe with creditors, debt collection outfits, and companies that were looking to screw people out of their hard-earned money.  I’ve learn a few things about the way our legal system works, and how people can use their laws to make up for the unfair advantage that comes along with being able to lobby for your interests.

I don’t offer every possible legal service under the sun.  Instead, I do the things I’m good at.  If you need help and I can fit the bill, that’s terrific.

Personal Bankruptcy

I have been helping people file for bankruptcy in New York since 1995, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. I’ve been the New York co-chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys since 2006, co-founded and currently serve as the President of Bankruptcy Law Network, and regularly speak at local and national bankruptcy conferences.  If you want to learn more, click here.

Debt Collection Abuse

I sue debt collectors for violating your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state laws. If you’ve been the subject of harassment or abuse at the hands of bill collectors gone wild, please fill out this simple contact form.

Credit Reporting Errors

Credit reports are vitally important to how we get along each day.  Even the smallest error can have devastating results.  If your credit report doesn’t look the way it should, get in touch here.

Beyond that, let me know how I can help. Here’s my contact form. I look forward to hearing from you.
